ABOUT

After years of training and teaching in Marquette Michigan Ron Strong and Cher Lewis returned to the Crandon area and opened Strong Fitness Center in December 2014.  Initially we offered martial arts classes taught by Ron, and Zumba taught by Cher.  With the recent addition of "Functional Fitness" with Ashley Jaeger and Yoga led by JoJo Bradley we are truly a multidimensional fitness facility.

Our goal has always been to offer a professional training facility in a safe and healthy family oriented environment.

Classes

Soo Bahk Do Karate

Soo Bahk Do is a classical martial art dicipline that offers development of the mind, body, and spririt and provides effective seslf-defense in an atmosphere of promoting peace and preventing conflict. 

Functional Fitness

Movements and exercises to help you strengthen
your body for everyday. Helping create a lifestyle for you to be your happiest and
best self.

Zumba

Zumba is a fun aerobic workout using Latin dance and other music genre. Hand weights, exercise balls, and stretch bands make this a complete workout.  This is a fun way to get in shape and stay in shape.

Yoga

Yoga uses breathing exercises and stretching positions to enhance focus and meditation, cultivate self-awareness, self-regulation, and a higher consciousness.

Ron Stong

I started taking karate classes 27 years ago when our two young sons were also in class. I developed a passion for Soo Bahk Do and today hold a 5th degree midnight blue belt (black belt). I am an internationally certified Master Instructor in the art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan and a former National Chairperson of the US Soo Bahk Do Federation Board of Directors.  I hold a BS Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Cheryl Lewis

While working as a Speech Pathologist in the public schools I needed a physical outlet to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  I found the perfect mix of exercise, music and camaraderie in Zumba.  Now as an internationally certified Zumba Instructor with over 10 years experience I want to share my love of Zumba with the community.  I have a BA degree in Human Development, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and an MA degree in Speech/Language Pathology, Northern Michigan University.

Ashley Jaeger

Hi, I’m Ashley Jaeger. Born and raised in Argonne, WI. I am
married and have four children. I have a passion for health and fitness. I enjoy running, obstacle course races, a variety of workout routines from strengthening, cardio, and stretching. I provide classes that range from low impact strengthening and lengthening to cardio. I encourage participants to apply the movements and core strength to their everyday life. I believe that moving your body at least 30 minutes a day for yourself will help focus your mind, relieve stress, and create habits you can continue for a lifetime.

Jonelle "JoJo" Bradley

My name is Jonelle Bradley, but friends and family call me JoJo. I have lived in Crandon for 20 years. I have 4 children and 7 grandchildren! I have been practicing yoga for about 12 years, and truly believe in all the benefits yoga provided, both mentally and physically. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher, having completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training.
